Her short fiction appears in literary magazines and anthologies.

Jan also produces/hosts her own weekly podcast, "Here's A Thought," for people who overthink. Her debut novel is currently on submission by Helen Adams of Zimmermann Literary Agency.

Jan lives in Boise, Idaho with her husband Michael and their cat, Bandit, who is charming but not to be trusted.
